What is Blended Learning?
Blended learning is an intentional shift for at least a portion of the student day to an on-line environment to boost learning & operating productivity. The blended learning model integrates face-to-face classroom time with on-line learning; facilitated at all times by a classroom teacher, combining the effectiveness and socialization of the classroom with technologically enhanced on-line materials. Development of adaptive, primarily open source, and engaging content will boost motivation, achievement, and completion while enabling lower cost by enabling differentiated and distributed staffing models.
